The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power

The Prize is a historical recounting of how oil influenced politics, geopolitics, and corporate power, starting with early discoveries of oil, to the late 1980s. The story itself is fascinating, though quite long. There's a lot to tell, since understanding oil also leads to understanding many of the major corpoerate and political forces over the past 100+ years. Since the book concludes near when I was born, it was an interesting lens to understand the world from before my own memories.

Overall, an enjoyable book, and I learned a lot about major forces that impact us today.
